A 45-year-old Cape Coral man died Saturday afternoon after he lost control of his pickup truck while driving on Burnt Store Road in Charlotte County. The Florida Highway Patrol said the unidentified man was traveling south toward Cape Coral when he traveled off the roadway, rotated, collided with a light pole, overturned and hit a tree. The accident happened about 4:20 p.m. Saturday. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation, an FHP news release stated. M
